November 4, 2006: Unfortunately Rachel will not be attending to the TOP Gym due to injury. Get better soon Rachel!

October 22, 2006: Rachel's schedule has been updated with the remaining meets she will be competing in for the 2007 season.

September 30, 2006: Rachel's schedule has been updated once again. Rachel, along with Cassie Whitcomb of CGA, will be traveling to Belgium in November for the TOP Gym competition!

September 24, 2006: A few new photos from 2006 National Finals have been added thanks to Gym-nerd.com!

September 16, 2006: Rachel leaves today for the PAGU Training Camp Exchange, good luck and have fun Rachel!

September 10, 2006: Many new photos from 2006 US Nationals have been added the galleries have also been split into 2 sections, one from Prelims and one from Finals.

September 4, 2006: One more video has been added from US Nationals! Rachel's schedule has also been updated.

September 1, 2006: Rachel will be attending the PAGU Training Camp Exchange in September which will be held at the Ranch! Rachel will be joined by Jordyn Weiber, Cassie Whitcomb, and Corrie Lothrop as well as athletes from up to 9 other countries! A new article has also been added to Rachel's site.

August 29, 2006: Photos from 2006 US Nationals have been aded as well as a video of Rachel's floor from prelims.

August 19, 2006: Rachel started finals on vault where she hit her yurchenko full for a 14.200. Rachel moved to bars where she hit her Tkachev and double layout dismount to score a 14.050. Rachel did well on beam making her front aerial to backhand spring layout series but had a big wobble on her onodi. She finished beam with a double full dismount to score a 14.35. Rachel finished with a strong floor routine making her double pike, her 1 ½ punch front layout and her 2 ½ punch front tuck. She scored a 14.20. Rachel finished in 12th place qualifying to her first national team!

August 17, 2006: Rachel started off her competition today on floor where she scored a 14.150 out of a possible 14.8! Rachel moved on to vault where she competed her yurchenko 1/1, although she piked down the vault, she scored a 14.300. Rachel moved to bars where she had a slight problem hitting her feet on one of her transition skills, but scored a strong 13.400. Rachel’s last event was beam where she hit her onodi, her flip flop series, and her dismount. Rachel scored a 14.750. Rachel is currently in 13th place in the AA out of 32 gymnasts! Finals will be held Saturday at 1pm and Rachel’s AA scores from both meets will be combined for her final AA standing. Rachel will need to place in the top 12 to make her first national team.

August 13, 2006: Rachel is competing in her 1st USA National Championships starting next Thursday (August 17th, 2006)! Rachel starts her first day of competition on floor with the prelim competition starting at 1pm. Competing with Rachel will be her GAGE teammates: Erica Smith, Ivana Hong, and Sarah DeMeo. Her squad also includes Taylor Schick (Gwinnett), Michelle Shealy (Gwinnett), Rebecca Bross (WOGA), Catherine Nguyen (WOGA), and Christa Tanella (WOGA). Saturday, for finals, Rachel will be starting on vault with the competition starting at 1pm.

August 9, 2006: Rachel now has some wallpapers up thanks to GymKim.Com. A page featuring some of Rachel's favorite things has also been added, check it out and see if you have any of the same favorites as Rachel does!

August 8, 2006: Rachel's results and skills pages have both been updated with new information. A new video from 2006 US Classic training has also been added.

August 6, 2006: The first of many photos from the US Classic have been added. New message board icons have been added and the support banners has been completed.

August 5, 2006: A new section has been added to the site called articles. There are also updated on the fast facts and links pages.

August 4, 2006: Videos from the 2005 Dragon Invitational have been added, thanks to Ultimate-Athletes.com! re:Action Photography has some photos up of Rachel from the US Classic which can be seen here.

August 3, 2006: Lots of updates have been made to Rachel's site, including a new animations page and games page. New photos have been added from Rachel's 2004 Competition Season as well as some Miscellaneous photos. The site can also be reached by typing www.rachelupdike.com.

July 31, 2006: Videos and Results from the US Classic have been added! Rachel's schedule was also updated.

July 29, 2006: Rachel competed today in the U.S. Classic. She received a 14.3 on vault, 12.75 on bars, 14.1 on beam, 13.5 on floor, and a A.A. total of 54.65. Congratulations on an extremely successful meet!
