This weekend Sarah competed at the 2009 Parkette's Elite Qualifier. She used this competition as a practice meet for her upcoming national qualifier, the US Classic. Sarah competed a lovely yurchenko 1/1 on vault for a score of 13.950. She also caught her straddle jeager and landed her full twisting double tuck dismount for a 13.800 on bars. On beam she landed her flip flop to back layout step out combination, front aerial to front tuck, and her side aerial for a 14.000 and first place. Sarah scored a 13.500 on floor after tumbling a double arabian, double pike, and 2 1/2 twist. Videos and photos from the competition are now on the website.

Welcome to the official website of Sarah Persinger! Sarah Persinger is a 16 year old international elite gymnast from Charlotte, North Carolina. She was a member of the 2006 Region Eight Junior Olympic National Team where she won gold on vault and bars and took 4th in the All-Around competition qualifying for a spot on the JO National Team. Sarah qualified to the international elite level in 2006 and was a competitor at 2006 US Classic. Since then Sarah has qualified to 2007 USA National Championships, but missed making the national team but just a few places. Sarah once again qualified to Nationals in 2008, but was forced to scratch due to injury. Sarah has her goals sent on attaining a spot on the USA National team in the future and representing Team USA in International Competitions.
