May 2, 2008: Makayla competed last weekend in the 2008 Regional Championships where she placed 1st all around! Makayla also took the gold medal on vault and beam. She has qualified to compete at the 2008 Junior Olympic Championships at the end of the month in Kissimmee, Florida!

April 10, 2008: Makayla competed in the 2008 Northern California State Championships this past weekend taking first place in the all around with a score of 38.700! Makayla scored over a 34.000 in the all around and qualified to Region I Championships which will be held in Long Beach, CA the last weekend in April. Full results have been added from state championships.

March 19, 2008: This past weekend Makayla competed in the 2008 Golden State Classic where she took 1st place in the all around as well as 1st on on vault and bars! Full results have been added from the competition.

February 24, 2008: Makayla competed last weekend in the AOGC's Lights, Camera, Action! meet. Although results are still unavailable videos have been added. Last night Makayla competed in the California Classic where she took 1st on vault, beam, floor and all around! Full results have been added. Makayla's next competition is the Spirit of the Flame invite the first weekend of March.

January 14, 2008: Makayla did well at the Brestyan's invite this weekend but had an uncharacteristic fall on bars leaving her in 2nd place in the all-around. Full results and videos have been added! Makayla's next competition it the WOGA Classic which is the first Saturday in February.

December 20, 2008: The Byer's invite for 2008 has be cancelled so Makayla's schedule below now reflects that change!

May 20, 2007: Makayla did not compete in this weekends 2007 Junior Olympic Nationals due to injury. Get well soon Makayla!

April 22, 2007: Makayla placed 3rd all-around at Region 1 Championships qualifying for a spot at 2007 Junior Olympic Nationals which will be held next month. Full results have been added.

March 31, 2007: Makayla competed in the 2007 Northern California State Championships today and placed 1st all-around! Makayla also placed 2nd on vault and bars and took the gold on beam and floor. Makayla easily qualified to Region 1 Championships which will be held April 20-22 in Utah.

March 18th, 2007: Results have been added from last weekends Byer's Invite where Makayla took 1st AA! Makayla's next competition is the Northern California State Championships where Makayla will be trying to qualify for Region 1 Championships.

February 11th, 2007: Makayla competed yesterday in the 2007 Lights, Camera, Action Invitational hosted by AOGC. Makayla went 4 for 4 placing 1st in the AA! Results have been added and videos can bee seen below. Makayla's next competition is the Byer's Invite on March 10th.

February 10th, 2007: Makayla competed in the WOGA Classic last weekend, results have been added. Her next competition is tonight in Los Angeles, CA for the AOGC Invite. GOOD LUCK MAKAYLA!

January 27th, 2007: Makayla had another awesome meet at the 2007 Golden State Classic winning vault, beam, floor and the AA! results have been added. Makayla's next competition will be next weekend at the 2007 WOGA Classic where Makayla will be competing in the morning level 10 session on Saturday.

January 3rd, 2007: Makayla's first meet is coming up! She will be competing in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 13th for the Crystal Cup Invite hosted by Olympus Gymnastics.
