Welcome to the official site of Makayla Stambaugh. Although virtually unheard of before 2004, Makayla has made her small mark on the elite scene. Makayla slowly moved her way up to the elite ranks, placing 5th AA at the 2002 JO Nationals and 4th in 2003. Makayla made easily made elite in 2004, and competed at the 2004 American Classic. Unfortunately, some mistakes did not leave Makayla high enough to make nationals. Makayla went home and worked hard, and effortlessly made nationals at the US Classic. Makayla’s clean form and gorgeous lines helped her make the 2004 US Jr. National team.

     Makayla once again proved that she stood her own among the nations best juniors, by qualifying to 2005 USA Nationals. Despite some small injuries Makayla placed well enough to qualify to her 2nd USA National Team. Makayla decided during the 2006 season that Elite Gymnatics had taken a big enough toll on her body and has decided to focus on level 10.
