June 11, 2008: Katelyn concluded the US Championships on Saturday by finishing 16th in the all-around. Katelyn fell just short of qualifying to the US national team and US Olympic Trials. Photos from the competition have been added to the website.
June 6, 2008: Katelyn started US Championships last night on balance beam where she did a solid routine with a front tuck mount and back layout series for a 14.150. Katelyn showed solid routines on floor and vault scoring a 14.450 and 13.900 respectively. Katelyn moved to bars for her last event but unfortunately had a fall scoring a 13.350. Katelyn is currently in 14th place in the standings and full results can be seen on the USA Gymnastics Website.
June 1, 2008: This week Katelyn will be traveling to Boston, Massachusetts to compete in the 2008 USA Visa Championships. Katelyn will be vying for a spot on the senior national team as well as a spot at the 2008 Olympic Trials! To attain this she will need to score an average of a 56 all around over the two days of competition as well as place in the top 12 of the senior gymnasts competing.
Katelyn’s competition will begin on June 5th at 7:00pm EST at the Agganis Arena at Boston University. The second day of competition will be held on June 7th at 3:30pm EST. NBC Sports is scheduled to show the second day of competition on June 7th from 4:00-6:00pm EST, but please check your local listing to verify the date and time. May 31, 2008: New photos from the 2008 US Classic have been added thanks to Brian Jones.
May 25, 2008: Katelyn competed on Friday at the US Classic where she placed 6th on vault and 10th on bars. Katelyn and her coaches decided to take things easy at these meet and she competed a watered down floor exercise and scratched beam. Katelyn will be competing full difficulty in two weeks at the 2008 USA Championships in Boston, MA.
May 19, 2008: Katelyn will be competing this Friday in Houston, TX at the 2008 US Classic. This competition serves as a qualifier to the 2008 USA Championships. However, Katelyn recently qualified to USA Championships at the 2008 National Qualifier so this meet will serve was a warm-up competition for her. March 19, 2008: This past weekend Katelyn competed in the 2008 Golden State Classic where she placed first on bars and 4th in the all-around! Katelyn's results from the competition have been added to the site.
February 24, 2008: Last night Katelyn competed in the 2008 California Classic where she placed 1st on vault, bars, floor, and all around! Full results have been added.
February 3, 2008: Katelyn did not compete at this weekends WOGA Classic due to attending a National Team Camp earlier in the week.
January 14, 2008: Katelyn competed this weekend at the Brestyan's invite where she took 1st all-around as well as the gold medals on all four events! Full results have been added as well as videos. Katelyn's next competition is thw WOGA Classic the first Saturday in February.
