December 14, 2007: Katelyn is happy to announce that she has given a verbal for a full gymnastics scholarship to the University of Utah! Katelyn will graduate high school in the spring of 2009 and will start at Utah in the fall of 2009! GO UTES!
September 29, 2007: Many new photos have been added to the 2007 US Nationals gallery thanks to Heather Maynez. Katelyn's schedule for 2008 has also been updated.
August 28, 2007: Katelyn's site has been updated with a new look! Pictures from the 2007 US Nationals and 2007 US Classic have also been added.
August 20, 2007: Katelyn finished up the Visa Championships in 13th place, just missing the national team! Full results from finals and Katelyn's combined scores have been added.
August 17, 2007: Katelyn competed last night in the prelims portion of the Visa Championships. Katelyn hit all four routines and is currently in 11th place with a 55.55. Katelyn will need to improve her all -around score to reach the average of a 56 to make the national team.
August 12, 2007: Katelyn will be competing in her second Visa Championships this week! Katelyn will be competing in the senior sessions on Thursday, August 16th at 7pm PST (10pm EST) and Saturday, August 19th at 6pm PST (9pm EST). This is a televised event by NBC Sports, to please check your local TV listings on Sat the 18th and Sunday the 19th for broadcast times!
If Katelyn’s combined score puts her in the top 12 all-around and she achieves an average all-around score of at least a 56 she will be placed on the USA National Team! The National Team meets at the National Training Center in Texas for training camps and these athletes are also selected for international competitions to represent the USA.

August 5, 2007: Many new photos have been added from 2006 US National thanks to Lloyd Smith. Katelyn's routines have also been updated to include skills she added at the 2007 US Classic.
July 31, 2007: Katelyn did well at the us Classic this weekend qualifying to USA National Championships! Katelyn competed her tsuk 1 ½ on vault scoring a 14.00 for 6th place. Katelyn also had a clean bar routine scoring a 13.30 for 10th place. Katelyn went on to score a 14.00 on beam for 9th place and a 14.25 on floor for 3rd place! Her all-around was just short of a 56 at 55.55 but USAG lowered the qualifying score to nationals to a 55.00. Videos and results from the competition have been added.
July 24, 2007: Katelyn will be competing in the US Classic this Saturday, July 28th! Katelyn will need to score at least a 56 all-around during the competition to qualify to the USA National Championships which will be held next month in San Jose, CA. June 13, 2007: Katelyn competed in the Nationals Qualifier last weekend at the ranch, but missed her AA score needed to qualify to nationals. She will have another chance to qualify at the US Classic the last weekend of July. Full results have been added as well as videos.
March 18, 2007: Katelyn competed last weekend in the 2007 Byer's Invite where she took 1st on bars and 4th AA. Results have been added.

February 11, 2007: Katelyn competed at the 2007 Lights, Camera, Action Invitational hosted by AOGC yesterday. Katelyn did well but struggled on some new skills (BHS LO LO two feet series on beam). Results and videos have been added. Katelyn's next competition is the Byer's Invite on March 10th.
February 10, 2007: Full results have been added from the WOGA Classic. Katelyn's routines/skills have also been updated with new skills and her A-Score on each event.
February 4, 2007: Katelyn competed yesterday in the 2007 WOGA Classic where she took 1st place in the All-Around and placed 2nd on beam and floor. Results from the competition will be added soon. Katelyn's next competition is the AOGC Invite next weekend in Los Angeles, CA.
January 27, 2007: Katelyn competed in the 2007 Golden State Classic this weekend once again taking 1st place in the all-around. Results have been added. Katelyn's next competition is next weekends WOGA Classic where she will be competing in the evening elite session.
January 13, 2007:Results from the 2007 Crystal Cup has been added where Katelyn took 1st place AA! Videos have also been added from the meet. Katelyn's next 2007 Golden State Classic during the last weekend of January.
January 3, 2007: Katelyn's first meet is coming up! She will be competing in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 13th for the Crystal Cup Invite hosted by Olympus Gymnastics.

September 4, 2006: Katelyn's skills have been updated to reflect the skills that she competed during the elite season. Videos of Katelyn's routines from National Prelims have also been added!
September 2, 2006: Katelyn's site had been updated with new photos in the layout as well as new colors!
August 19, 2006: Katelyn started finals on bars where she hit her routine including her Yaeger and double front dismount for a 13.600. Katelyn had a nice beam routine with just a wobble on her switch side to score a 13.600. Katelyn hit her Arabian double front, her front layout to rudi, her 1 ½ front layout full AND her 2 ½ on floor! She scored a 14.45. Katelyn stuck her tsuk 1 ½ to finish off the day and scored a 14.55. Katelyn finished 16th AA, missing the national team by just a few spots!
August 17, 2006: Katelyn started off her competition today on vault where she scored a 14.500. Her next event was bars where she scored a 13.450. Katelyn had a strong showing on beam starting with her front tuck mount and hitting her series of front tuck + back tuck. She scored a 13.600. Katelyn’s last event was floor where she hit her double Arabian pass as well as her 2 ½. She scored a 14.200. Katelyn will compete in finals on Saturday at 1pm.
August 13, 2006: Katelyn is competing in her 1st USA National Championships starting next Thursday (August 17th, 2006)! Katelyn starts her first day of competition on vault with the prelim competition starting at 1pm. Her squad also includes Tessa Pama (Gym Max), Hannah Toussaint (Olympic Dreams), Olivia Courtney (Capital NGTC), Shawn Johnson (Chow’s), Kimberly Jacob (GymCarolina), Bridget Sloan (Sharp’s), and Ashley Stott (SCEGA). Saturday, for finals, Katelyn will be starting on bars with the competition starting at 1pm.

July 29, 2006: Katelyn competed today in the U.S. Classic. She received a 14.3 on vault, 13.45 on bars, 12.35 on beam, 13.25 on floor, and a A.A. total of 53.35! Congratulations Katelyn on a successful competition.
July 25th, 2006: Katelyn will be competing in the US Classics this weekend in Kansas City. She will be competing in the 2nd Session of Junior International Elites which compete Saturday (July 29) at 1:00 pm. Katelyn will be competing to earn a spot at the USA National Championship competition held in St. Paul in August. To qualify to Nationals Katelyn will need to score a 53.000 AA or better during the US Classic competition. April 3, 2006:Congratulations Katelyn, Region 1 AA Champion! Katelyn competed at Regionals in Temecula, CA this weekend and placed first on Vault (front handspring front tuck 1/1), Beam, Floor, and the AA! Results have been added. Katelyn qualified for a spot on the Region 1 Jr. B team that will be competing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for JO Nationals at the end of April!
March 27, 2006: The layout on the site has been changed around a bit with some new photos. Katelyn is competing at Level 10 Region 1 Regionals this weekend in Temecula, CA. If Katelyn places in the top 7 AA she will be named to the Region 1 team going to JO Nationals in Oklahoma. GOOD LUCK KATELYN!

February 26, 2006: Yesterday Katelyn competed in the 2006 West Valley Spirit of the Flame Challenge where she did an amazing job and won the gold medal in the AA competition! Full results from the meet have been added.
