Ericha Elizabeth Fassbender was born on September 2, 1996 in Virginia. She is the youngest daughter of Bobbie and David. Ericha was put in to gymnastics after she began flipping around the furniture on her house. In 2004 she began competing as a level 5 gymnast for World Class Gymnastics and placed 2nd all around at the 2004 Virginia State Championships. She moved up to level 6 in the fall and placed 2nd all around at the 2004 Harvest Invitational.

In the winter of 2005 Ericha moved up to the optional levels and competed as a level 7 at the Nation's Capital Cup finishing with a silver medal in the all around. She went on to place 2nd on vault, bars, beam and the all around at the 2005 Level 7 State Championships where she also earned a gold medal on floor exercise. She moved up to level 8 in 2006 finishing with a gold medal in the all around at the 2006 Sand Dollar Classic and the Hurricane Invtational. She placed 4th all around at the 2006 Virginia State Championships as well as 2nd on beam. She also qualified to the 2006 Regional Championships!

After the 2006 competitive season Ericha's family moved to Katy, Texas and she switched to Stars Gymnastics Houston where she is now coached by Dan and Ashly Baker. Ericha began her 2007 Season as a level 9 gymnast by placing 5th on beam at the Cancun Classic in January. In June she traveled to the National Team Training Center for the 2007 American Challenge where she earned 8th place in the Hopes 11-12 year old age division. She then traveled to Michigan where she placed 5th all around at the 2007 US Challenge in the Hopes 11-12 year old age group.

Ericha began 2008 by competing at the Region III Elite Qualifier where she earned her compulsory elite score. She placed 3rd All-around in the Hopes Division of the Parkettes Elite Qualifier, once again earning a spot as a Hopes athlete. She earned a gold medal at the 2008 US Challenge and also took top honors on balance beam.

In 2009 Ericha moved up to the highest USAG Junior Olympic competitive level, level 10. She earned silver medals on vault, beam, floor, and the all around at the 2009 Judge's Cup held in Florida. She went on to earn a gold medal on bars and silver medal on vault at the 2009 State Qualifier. Ericha missed qualifying elite by just three points at the Metroplex Challenge, but qualified on her 2nd try at the 2009 Palm Beach Classic. She then traveled to San Diego, CA where she finished 11th at the American Classic and qualified for a spot at the 2009 US National Championships. Ericha traveled to Dallas, TX for the 2009 US National Championships where she finished 28th in the all around.

2010 started out with a bang for Ericha, who finishd 4th all around at the Metroplex Challenge and qualified to the 2010 US National Championships. Ericha traveled to Hartford, CT for the competition and finished day 1 of the competition in 11th place. By the end of the meet Ericha placed 9th out of all the juniors and was named to the 2010-2011 Junior National Team. Ericha also earned a bronze medal on balance beam with a combined score of 28.450! Ericha will now be attending National Team Training Camps and has a chance to earn an international assignment!

Ericha is in the 8th grade and is currently homeschooled. In her free time she enjoys scrapbooking and shopping. She has one older sister, Sarah, as well as a cat (Shadow) and a dog (Pepper).
