To use one of these AIM Icons just click on the photo that you like most. Once you click on your desire Icon a prompt will show up confirming your icon choice. You will need to click "ok" when this prompt shows up. If you are using AOL you will need to save the icon to your own computer, and upload the icon through your instant messaging program.
