Welcome to the Official Website of Cerise Witherby. Cerise Witherby is currently training for an elite season and competes for Wildfire Gymnastics. Cerise was the silver medalist at the 2006 Western National Championships and took the gold medal in the vault competition. In 2007 Cerise competed at a level 10 athlete and placed 5th all-around at Region One Championships along with a bronze medal finish on bars and floor. Cerise qualified to the Junior Olympic National Championships and traveled to Ohio for her first National competition. Cerise hit all four events and placed 14th in the all-around. Cerise struggled with a hamstring injury in 2008, but came back strong in 2009 qualifying to her second Junior Olympic National Championships. She finished 5th on beam at nationals and tied for 6th place in the all around. Cerise recently verbally committed to Oregon State University for a full gymnastics scholarship during the 2011-2012 school year.
